BEYONCE BAGS HER SEVENTH NUMBER 1 ON BILLBOARD RnB/HIPHOP ALBUM CHARTS

Beyonce’s “The Gift” album finally hits a number 1 on Billboard’s top RnB/Hip-hop album charts.

The star-studded album which bagged Beyonce her ‘seventh’ number no 1 on the Billboard’s top RnB/hip hop charts was birthed in relation with her role in the 2019 LION KING film adaptation.

The 27 track album presented the movie with 14 original songs with 13 interludes of king dialogue centering majorly on Afrobeats and elements of pop, RnB, and Hip-hop from other African acts.

Asides Beyonce been the major act on the album, it enjoyed assists from African artists like Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid and others alongside familiar American stars like Kendrick Lamar, Jay Z, and Pharrell Williams.

Furthermore, with bagging seven no1s, it ties Beyonce with the likes of Janet Jackson and Alicia Keys for the position of the fourth-best total on the ranking for solo women since the beginning of the chart in 1965.

The Gift’s album also enters top the top RnB albums and World albums charts but however kicks off at a number 2 on the all-genre Billboard 200.
