Barely a week after dropping their first collaborative single this year as a unit, the DMW crew has now come up with a follow-up video for On God. In house videographer, Dammy Twitch is once again responsible for directing this video. While this is not a high budget music video as some of those he has directed in the past, the video still comes up with a few quality moments.
The video opens with a message away from the actual theme of the song. It is a message of unity that boldly reads ‘Let love lead, Say no to xenophobic attacks’. The DMW family shows a conscious effort towards the recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa. The DMW crew then proceed to the order of the day, pure shenanigans as you’d expect.
Dammy Twitch revealed he shot this video in less than two hours. So that accounts for the issue of a single location that was used throughout the duration of the shoot. The entire video was shot on a mini football pitch during night time. Dremo and Mayorkun held decoy guns while Davido had a baseball bat on sight as they all did their singing in a mob setting.
